Worship is central to our Christian Mission. The St Francis Parish Mission is to be spirit filled, to maintain and develop an outward-looking, mission-oriented congregation; it is to increase our church membership in size and in depth of Christian discipleship, spiritual understanding and theological knowledge, as well as finding more ways of working closely in partnership with secular agencies, other churches and the wider community.
We invite you to study our regular Church Services to see if there is one which suits your needs and family circumstances. Prayer is the Cornerstone of our Worship; it is a continuous part of Church life. Learn about our Prayer Programme; we need to know when we should hold you in our Prayers. This site does not serve as an alternative to Sunday Worship and it is therefore not intended to replace what is said in Church by a copy of every sermon; but every so often sermons of particular significance are given. They will then be recorded for all to read on the Sermons Page. However, there will be one regular update - the Vicar's Letter - this is a bimonthly message from Peter Louis to all of us in the Parish; we thought you might appreciate reading it. |
