05 - Primary Image introduces new photgraphic technology
PT-FX for fixed fiew point training
Primary
Image is pleased to announce the launch of a new technology,
PT-FX, which will bring groundbreaking realism to fixed
view point training. With PT-FX, Primary Image has the
capability to run 2D photographic backgrounds on its Fabriano
XL IG range, allowing users to benefit from all the special
effects and features the IG has to offer. Applications
such as forward observer and air traffic control training
will now be able to benefit from weather, lighting and
particle effects such as snow, smoke and fire. PT-FX has
already been sold for use in forward artillery trainers.

05 - Latest Contract win for Primary Image in the car
driver simulator market
Primary
Image is pleased to announce its latest contract win for
the development of a custom designed car driving simulator
which will be delivered in April of this year. Together
with the company Ballracing, Primary Image specially designed
the mobile car driver simulator for one of the largest
British motoring schools. Based in the South East of England,
the portable simulator will be used at different locations
throughout the UK to attract potential students by giving
them a trial experience of driving.

05 - Primary Image wins Canadian Air Force Aircraft Marshalling

Image is pleased to announce its latest contract win for
the supply of a full aircraft marshalling simulator to
the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and
Engineering (CFSATE) which is part of 16 Wing and Canadian
Forces Base, Borden, Canada. The multi-channel simulator
will be complete and ready to train apprentice aircraft
technicians by the end of April this year.

04 - Primary Image launched new, high performance
IG hardware, XL10 and sophisticated new software features
at I/ITSEC 04
Primary
Image, the provider of advanced simulator technology unveiled
its new, advanced, high performance IG the Fabriano XL10,
which is based on the latest Nvidia technology, at I/ITSEC
this year. Visitors to the booth were extremely impressed
by the realism and quality of the fully networked tank
and helicopter sims running on the new XL10, and were able
to get a real simulator experience by flying the flight
sim demo in the booth’s cockpit. In addition to the
product launch, Primary Image also gave away free copies
of its specially developed API, Tempest Open which will
revolutionise the simulation market’s approach to
software.

04 - Primary Image and CSIST-ASRD sign
MOU to develop alliance in ground vehicle simulation
market
Primary
Image, the provider of advanced simulator technology, is
pleased to announce today that it has signed a Memorandum
of Understanding with CSIST to distribute CSIST ground
vehicle simulators in Europe. The agreement follows a long-term
relationship, which has existed between the two companies
for the last four years. The strategic alliance was ultimately
established to expand CSIST’s ground vehicle simulation
presence in Europe.

04 - Phoenix Simulation chooses Primary Image's latest
technology for an undisclosed Middle East contract.

Image, the provider of advanced simulator technology, is
pleased to announce a new contract win in the Middle East
through Phoenix Simulation. The supplied systems will be
based on the new Fabriano XL range, and the customer will
benefit from the triple performance and enhanced image
quality that the new range now offers. Primary Image will
supply over ten channels of Fabriano XL4 for the systems.

04 - $0.5 million contract win for Primary Image
Primary Image, the provider of advanced simulator
technology is pleased to announce another contract win worth
over $0.5 million in the Asian military simulation market.
The contract is based on its high-end image generator Fabriano
and also includes a contract for the company’s extensive
customer support. The simulator will be used for tank driver
training for an Asian Army. The contract is a significant
win for the company.
