Intraclub: Singles league 2004: We will be running the singles leagues again this year.

There will be a new format this year, with points gained for winning matches, as opposed to winning games within matches.

The leagues start in mid April, with the first league running until the end of May. Thereafter leagues will be monthly. You don’t have to commit to the whole season either. 5 players to a league, we play each other once, with matches being 2 sets to 6 games, tie-break at 6-6. If this finishes 1 set all, the match is decided with a tie-break. 2 points are scored for a win, 1 point for a loss.

If you want to enter then, ring me, put your name on the list in the clubhouse, or send me a note. All I need are name, contact numbers, and which level you want to start at. Rank yourself (don’t be shy) between 1-10, where 10 is the club champion and 1 is someone just starting playing. If you played last year, you will be slotted in by your finishing position.
