Laser Electronics Laser/Video controllers allow the option of recording your show to music or to the internal PC clock, to invoke this function left click on the Record Icon.
The Window below will appear.
Select the Option, CD, Timer or Music If Timer is selected the show will start to play, use the F1-F10 keys, the space bar, Pg up, Pg down and the Home key to select the scenes that you want to display at specific times while the show plays, when you have finished recording hit ESC and the show will stop. When you now press play the show will play with the scenes replaying with the key presses that you have applied. The show will then stop at the point you pressed ESC. If CD is selected the window below will appear.
Make sure that the CD that you wish to use is inserted prior to selecting the CD recording option, next select the track that you wish to use and then click on OK. The music and the show will start to play, use the F1-F10 keys, the space bar, Pg up, Pg down and the Home key to select the scenes that you want to display at specific times while the show plays, when you have finished recording hit ESC and the show and music will stop. When you now press play the show will play with the scenes replaying with the key presses that you have applied while playing the music. The show will then stop at the point you pressed ESC. The show can now be saved by clicking on the save Icon, remember to give the show a unique name and also to have the correct CD inserted when you wish to replay the show to Music. If the correct cd is not inserted a window will appear informing you that the wrong cd has been inserted or no cd is present. If this occurs click cancel and insert the correct cd that the show was recorded with. If Music is selected the window below will appear.
Left click on the arrow to the right of the audio filename box and select the music file that you wish to record the show to. By default the program will look in the Laser Electronics Ltd directory in the folder called Music for audio files for recording shows, all audio files for recording shows should be stored in this directory. Next follow the instructions the same as if you were recording a show to a CD track. If you make a mistake while recording you can clear all the time triggers applied by Right clicking on the show name below the black preview screen and the menu below will appear.
Left Click on Clear time triggers and the timing information will be removed from the show. |
