OPTIMIZE To Use Optimize, Create or Load the graphic you wish to use in the Image Editor and then Left Click on the Optimize Icon. The Optimize function allows for the shortest path to be followed between points, this is useful for 2D graphics but when implemented on 3D graphics the Z depth information is removed and hidden line removal has to be replaced by the shortest visible or non visible path, therefore showing all 3D facets and visible points in a 2D and 3D graphic. Use Optimize for imported 2D Graphics, The use of this function on 3D graphics generated within Laser Electronics software, will remove the 3D hidden line removal function.
SCALE To Use Scale, Create or Load the graphic you wish to use in the Image Editor, if you wish to scale the full Image use the Capture Icon to select the full image or part of the image you wish to scale.
Next Left Click on the Scale Icon.
Holding down the left mouse button on any part of the image and dragging the mouse will capture all of the points within the image, Holding down the CTRL Key while dragging the mouse will only capture the points within the capture area. When you have captured the image or part of the image you wish to change hold down the left mouse button to scale the whole image or the part of the image selected. Holding the ALT Key and X, Y or Z will scale the respective part of the image in the X, Y or Z axis. Re-capturing the image using the Ctrl-Key held down with the left mouse button de-selects the parts of the image captured, this then allows you to select the "Hand Icon" or the "Scale Icon", so that you can move or Re-Size the parts of the image still captured. To deselect all points captured hold down the CTRL Key and select all the points within the image that were captured or click on the capture Icon and select a blank area outside of the captured image by holding down the left mouse button and dragging the mouse and then releasing the left mouse button.
