Two channels of dmx output can be applied to any scene in a show, the primary design behind the dmx output was for control of moving head fixtures with image projection capabilities, but the dmx output can be used for the control of any device that accepts the dmx protocol.
Under Dmx select X or Y, select the channel that you wish to use, then apply a value in the value tab, the dmx value that can be applied is between 0-255, 255 is the absolute value, 0 is the minimum value. The Laser Electronics Ltd hardware retains the output value until this value is cleared from the hardware buffer, to clear the dmx output select the same channels and output a value of 0 to both channels, doing this will clear the dmx being sent to the external hardware connected. Multiple outputs can be sent to various devices, these are sent on a scene by scene basis, with two channels being sent at any one time, to clear these follow the instructions above and send a 0 value to the channels. To output and set Dmx while adjusting scenes place a tick in the Dmx X & Y check boxes select the channel (1 - 512) and click OK, from run mode select adjust and select adjust scene, click on the scene that you wish to adjust hold down the Ctrl Key (-) or the Alt Key (+) and press Q (X) or A(Y) to adjust the value in real time. Remember to save the adjustments by clicking on save and saving the show. |
