Carts
The cart is used to prepare a track for output.
Each cart has controls appropriate to the type of input and output used.
Currently supported inputs : WAV (PCM encoded) files, MPEG (1,2,3) files, and CD
audio.
Currently supported outputs: all sound card(s) mixers.
There are five
panels which you can switch through, which control various aspects of the cart.
The buttons on the right of the cart control determine which panels
you can switch to.
Main Panel

The track is set via the library, or by drag and drop from
an explorer window.
Track duration is displayed if the track is valid. The box below this is the
offset into the track, which can be set using the slider bar before and during
play.
The play button starts the track, but once playing, the same button can
be used to advance to the next cart or repeat the track. Stop and Pause
buttons are also available.
There is a button to load a track (from the library) or eject an already loaded track.
Once a track is started there is another button to break aswell as stop.
The link button controls the link between this cart and
another cart.
Audio is controlled through volume and pan sliders and a mute button.
Details

Timing can be set for:
Trim - time taken off the start and end of the track.
Vocals - time indicators of when it is safe to talk over a part of the track.
Mark - timing for segue between carts, to give a smooth flow between tracks.
Fade - control volume level into and out of the track
Level and Pan - preset these values for the track
Entry

Contains the database information available for this track.
Title, artist, category, source and notes.
Control

Controls the input and output of the cart. Also controls the link to another cart,
play mode, break time and automatic actions during the use of the cart.
Display

Allows a name to be given to the cart, set the display scheme to be used,
attach a counter,
set scrolling of the title on the main panel and set count up/down on the main panel.
