Illumination System

Video camera

XE 30 eco ll: The Xenon light source was especially designed for use with endoscopic applications. It features a cold light reflector and an extremely small focal point.
This light source is therefore recommended for disciplines where narrow light guide cables are used. This small focal point ensures an optimal efficiency of light coupling to the fibreoptic light guide.
The high efficiency of the lamp ensures that heat conductivity is kept to a minimum. It is therefore possible to use a low noise fan for cooling the lamp. When the lifetime of the lamp has expired (500 hours), the lamp and life meter are changed within seconds with no further adjustments are required.
HL 150 eco ll: The halogen light source features a high efficiency reflector system, which focuses light effectively on the fibreoptic light guide. When the bulb blows the lamp is simply replaced by a new one within seconds - no tool and no adjustments required.
|
A 1/3" Chip ensures best image quality, high clarity and sharp detailed reproduction.
The highly sensitive microlens CCD and highspeed shutter allow optimal image display. Additional functions such as Window exceed the range of application.
White balance is automatic via a push button and the correct settings are stored in memory when the unit is turned off.
The Window Feature is used to improve the image illumination under harsh conditions. Only a central area of adjustable size is used to evaluate the image brightnes, outer margins are disregarded. Other advanced features of the system include colour control, suitable for expert users, all activated via the OSD.
