Senior Airman Ahmad I. al-Halabi is being held at Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Airman al-Halabi is being held in the 35-inmate prison on the 99,000-acre base, according to Staff Sgt. Rebecca Danet, Vandenberg spokeswoman.
"It is used throughout the West Coast region," Sgt. Danet said. "It's normally used for pre-trial confinement and post-trial for people sentenced for up to one year."
Airman al-Halabi was based at Travis Air Force Base at the time of his arrest.
