Construction*2000 - General Module

The General Module is the common link between all the Construction*2000 modules. It allows the modules to operate independently, yet forms the bridge between the modules when they are connected. It contains all the common functions of the modules thereby avoiding the need for repetition.

The General module integrates with all the other modules and has been designed to allow the setting up of the main data files in use throughout the entire system. It also controls the security module.

The flexible accounting structure gives you the option of having a Multi-Company, Multi-Region, Multi-Office system.

The Multi-Company option can be used when there are various companies within a group. The Multi-Region option can be used in order to split up a particular company into regions (e.g. North, South, East etc.)

The Multi-Office options means that data can be further split into various offices (e.g. Harrow, Watford, Croydon, etc.)

The contract can then be apportioned into various departments such as Building, General Works, Small Works, Joinery etc.

Construction*2000 allows you to view information from a Contracts Director's or from an Accountant's point of view. For example the Contract Director may wish to see his contract broken down by work groups into Prelims, Ground Works, Super Structure etc. Whereas an Accountant will want to see Costing information broken down by Nominal Ledger for example Materials, Bricks, Cement, Sand etc.
