As a consequence of a rare sarcoid, Beryl Graeme has been unable to sing for eight years. Fortunately, before losing her ability to sing, she recorded some unaccompanied songs for her father at Blank Tape Studios in Sheffield.

In 1999 Brewhouse and Blank Tape co-operated to add backing music and harmony vocals to some tracks. We subsequently produced this beautiful CD of Beryl's haunting voice performing mostly Irish but also some Scottish songs.

All money from sales is divided by The Celtic Reflections Trust equally to two cancer care charities.

Everyone involved with Moth To A Flame gave their time without charge and some financial help from anonymous donors made this CD a reality.

The causes supported are important but this CD is wonderful in its own right.
