We're
always on the look out for new members. Don't worry - you don't need to
be a fluent Gaelic speaker or indeed an expert musician - because all
tuition is given. We're just looking for people who have an interest in
singing in Gaelic, and who are free on a Tuesday evening.
Our
members age from twenty-something to eighty-something, and everything
in-between. Although some of us speak Gaelic, many don't and many have
no connection to the Highlands, or even Scotland - they just come along
to sing. The main reason most of us come along is just to enjoy ourselves,
and we generally pop to the pub for a wee swiftie after the practice (though
this is by no means compulsory!).If you're not sure about it, just come
along to a rehearsal and see what you think. We meet every Tuesday night
at 1900 in the hall at Crown Court Church in Covent Garden (just off Russell
Street). Please come. If you'd like any information about the choir please
feel free to contact us by e-mail at Info@coisirlunnainn.org.uk
